SCSI Upgrade
An added dimension to "high-level formatting", or initialising, hard discs on these 32-bit Acorns is that quite often there is a need to divide up the disc into different partitions because the full size of the disc exceeds the maximum capacity of the filing system. There is a limitation in RISC-OS 2 and 3, at least up to 3.11 as far as I remember, of 512MB per disc partition so any disc bigger must be split up into smaller bits.
The situation doesn't arise here, of course, with my little 20MB Miniscribe!
You may have noticed that another SWI not known error has occurred.
