This is the backplane taken out of the machine. It plugs into the main motherboard and provides 4 slots for expansion podules although this machine did not have any of the podules occupied when I bought it.

Here is the legend from the backplane, in case you missed it. The model numbers mentioned are interesting as it lists A410, A440 and A680. Not only does it omit this machine, the A420, but it mentions a non-existent machine, the A680!
