*SPELL takes us into SpellMaster, with a familiar style menu. There are in fact three ways to use SpellMaster. The first is shown here, when running SpellMaster as the current language, which provides a text editor, an option to spell-check a saved file, and a dictionary editor.

I've never really got to grips with SpellMaster as a language, the text editor is not as straightforward as using Wordwise or Inter-Word, so I'm not going to go into all that here.

The second use is as a spell-check option in Inter-Word. With both Inter-Word and SpellMaster ROMs installed, Inter-Word can check the spelling of a document whilst in edit mode.

The third way of using SpellMaster is by using its built-in * commands, which can be accessed without having SpellMaster running as the current language.
