Tube OSWORD Speed
It was suggested that the speed difference is caused by BASIC scanning for keypresses, particularly ESCAPE. We can simulate ESCAPE with *FX125, so here, running in the second processor with 1988 BASIC, we set up a loop of 1024 with ESCAPE being "pressed" on each pass through the loop. This takes 758cs.
