This is the MOS 3.50 ROM, showing its version number and 1989 copyright date. This is the chip as it resides in Station 201. MOS 3.50 was always an optional upgrade and was never fitted as standard to Masters, which came with MOS 3.20 right up to the end of the production run in 1993. Acorn must have believed in their new version's potential popularity, though, as they had it mask programmed.
