And here we have the Desktop. About 7,000 times better than M*******t Windows and a good few years earlier as well. One improvement I have noticed with RISC OS 3 from RISC OS 2 is that it gives you a "Drive empty" error if there is no floppy disc when you click on the drive :0 icon. My A3000 sits there forever with the drive spinning if you click on the floppy icon.

Another thing to remember about these later Acorns is that the drive notation was renumbered. It took me a while to work out that floppy drives are 0 and 1 under RISC OS and hard discs are 4, 5 etc. As everybody knows, on a Beeb it is the other way round.
