Inside this thing, it's simplicity itself.

We have the main board, with a detachable ribbon cable, two connectors for the co-processor board, and a couple of logic chips. I think these, or some of them, may be buffer chips which allow the longer ribbon cable to be used.

In the top left-hand corner is a power transformer with a 5V DC output going into the main board.
