With the lid off, we can see the insides of the Z80 for the first time. The screws in the case were so tight that I am certain that this is the first time this second processor has been opened since it left the factory in 1984.

The power supply board at the front is date stamped 28th October 1984, which is probably the nearest we are going to get to dating this thing.
